Redex Acid Cleaner - 20 Ltr

REDEX is a phosphoric acid-based detergent designed for removing surface rust from ferrous metals and it will also provide some protection against subsequent re-rusting. REDEX can also be used to remove hardness and stone deposits and oxide films from steel and other acid-resistant surfaces. REDEX contains wetting and emulsifying surfactants and is coloured red to provide a visual indication not to store near or mix with strong alkalis.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Rust removal – Use Redex diluted to 33%-50% v/v (300mls-500mls/litre), dependent on level of rust. Apply to surface for 5-30 minutes to remove light film. Agitate if practical and rinse off with cold water. Food contact surfaces must be thoroughly rinsed with potable water before production starts.
