At a time when there is a lot of uncertainty around the world, we would like to reassure our customers that we have a secure supply chain for critical supplies such as the ones that are in hot demand right now. The uncertainty prevailing currently has not only been due to the need to control this new novel human Coronavirus, but also how supply chains are being affected with raw materials sourced from China.
We have been asked by a number of our customers what products are available to help control the spread of pathogenic microorganisms in the work place. Additionally, we’ve had several queries about ability to supply these products, seeing many major brands of these products in NZ are imported.
As a New Zealand based manufacturer of cleaning/sanitising chemicals for the Food Processing sector, we can confirm that these products listed below do not rely on any components or packaging materials from China and we have plenty of stock available with the ability to manufacture more on demand.
Ethyl alcohol at concentrations of 60%–80% is a potent viricidal agent so to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses (as recommended by the Centre of Disease Control), there are two products in our range that cover this specification:
- Ethasan alcohol-based sanitiser for hard surfaces
- Alcofoam foaming instant hand sanitiser
- Also coming soon, our new Ethasan impregnated wipes and Ethasan Actex
