Food manufacturers often worry about loose bristles ending up in food. No brush maker can promise that bristles will never come out, but new technology can greatly reduce the risk.
Fibreclean is New Zealand’s leading brand for quality brushware. Our brushes hold bristles firmly because they are stapled into solid stocks with stainless steel staples. Now, with resin set technology, we add another layer of security.
What is Resin Set?
Resin set means the brush body is moulded with a recess where bristles sit. After the bristles are stapled in, food-grade resin is poured into the recess. The resin surrounds the bristles and hardens, locking them in place.
Other brands first used resin set to fix weak brush designs. Fibreclean brushes already have strong bristle retention, but resin set gives extra protection. Our brushes are unique because the bristles are stapled and sealed with resin—not resin alone.
Why Choose Resin Set?
Resin set brushes improve hygiene. Sealing around bristles reduces places where bacteria can hide, even after cleaning. This makes them ideal for areas where food contact surfaces need heavy scrubbing or sweeping.
Because resin set brushes cost more to make, they are best for high-risk areas—not for every part of the factory. They come in the same colours and styles as the rest of the Fibreclean range.
