Tech 298 Acid Cleaner - 20L/200L

TECH 298 is a concentrated blend of Nitric and Phosphoric acid, designed for use in CIP applications in the food – processing industry. TECH 298 is used in the “acid phase” of a CIP cycle, to remove scale and stone deposits from process lines and surfaces.

Features:

* Non-foaming
* Concentrated product
* Nitric acid has biocidal properties
 

Benefits:

* Nitric acid is excellent at removing inorganic soils, while Phosphoric acid provides a degree of detergency and passivation.
* Will not cause foam build ups in CIP circuits.
* Use at low use concentrations for an economical clean.
* Provides additional biocidal control, due to the oxidising properties of the Nitric acid content, and the low operating pH.
 

Directions for use:

* For normal CIP cleaning, or soak cleaning of acid-resistant components, prepare a 0.5 – 1.0% w/v solution (50-100 grams) per 10 ltrs of water. Circulate as required (normally 15-20 minutes), at a temperature of 30-50C. Rinse lines or surfaces with potable water after cleaning, and before production starts.
